Michael Lum is an animation supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic London. He began his career in animation on the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008–2020) before transitioning into the visual effects industry, where he worked on a number of major studio films. During his early career, he contributed in the animation department on projects such as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Rango (2011), and Super 8 (2011).
