Biography

Carmen Cuba is a casting director. Cuba began her casting career in 1999, working with filmmaker Larry Clark on Bully and Ken Park. This early experience led to a long-standing collaboration with Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh, casting various projects from the experimental Bubble to 2023's Magic Mike's Last Dance. She has also collaborated with Ridley Scott on The Martian, Alien: Covenant, and All the Money in the World. Her film credits include Leos Carax's Annette, Lana Wachowski's The Matrix Resurrections, Jane Campion's The Power of the Dog, and Jordan Peele's NOPE.
