Such a Bollywood film is *Animal*, that will hit theaters in December 2023. A dark, intense thriller for family and its relationship with violence and identity, the film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and casted Ranbir Kapoor as Vijay – the enigmatic character caught in the crossfire of loyalty, revenge, and personal demons. His father played by Anil Kapoor and is a powerful figure with whom Vijay shares a badly mannered relationship. The film, Rashmika Mandanna is the love interest, and Triptii Dimri channels out this mystifying character that gives some weight to the storyline.

A performance from Ranbir Kapoor that widely spoken about in the context of intensity was that of Vijay.
